Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of staticq ("Service"), operated by staticq ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

staticq provides a hosted form backend for static websites. You can create form endpoints, collect submissions from your website visitors, and configure how submission data is delivered (email notifications, webhooks, or viewed in the dashboard).

staticq owns all rights to the Service, including its software, design, and documentation. You retain ownership of all content you create (form configurations, submission data). We claim no intellectual property rights over your content.

5. Data Processing Role

When your website visitors submit data through your forms, you are the data controller and staticq is the data processor. You are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis to collect data from your visitors and for providing them with appropriate privacy notices. Our Data Processing Agreement governs how we process submission data on your behalf.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee any specific uptime or service level. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain availability but may experience downtime for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, staticq shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amounts you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless staticq from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
